"The BIG D’s of life"
In This Section
Acts 3:19 “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing would come from the presence of the Lord.”

It doesn’t get any better than that, and it doesn’t get any easier than that either. Unfortunately we make it hard. A lot of times the DRAMA in our lives is brought upon us through our selfish sinful behavior, and we soon experience the BIG D’s of life. Disappointment, Discouragement, Defeat, Disaster, Danger, Disorder, Depression, Disrespect, Destitution, Desolation, Drugs, Disease, Death, Dread, Distress, Divorce, Dissatisfaction, Dilemma, Discomfort, a Divided Heart, and Devastation. God makes it so simple for us, all we have to do is Repent.

To Repent is not simply to feel remorse or sorrow over sin. That’s all good, but the bible teaches in 2 Corinthians 7:10 “that godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation.” In other words, real sorrow will produce real repentance that produces a change in a persons life. We can’t keep looking to self, other people, or things to fill the void in our hearts. When we do that, we will find ourself’s to be weary and rundown from life. REPENT!!! and times of refreshing will come from the presence of the Lord. That is a promise from God’s word. Refreshment when we Repent.

God bless,
