Psalm Psalms 43:3 "Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your tabernacle."
David’s Vindication from his foes’ taunting him would come through the psalmist’s being brought safely to Jerusalem to worship. So he prayed that God’s light and . . . truth would guide Him to God’s dwelling place, the holy mountain this refers to Jerusalem where David’s tabernacle and later Solomon’s temple were erected. “Light” represented understanding and life, and “truth” represented God’s faithful Word by which the psalm-writer would find guidance.
The word convalescent means recovery. Lighthouse Ministries is a light in a dark world ministering to the needy in our surrounding communities. We in Lighthouse not only minister to convalescent homes, but also retirement homes as well as local outreaches in order to reach the lost for Christ. A large number of people in the homes have not heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our goal in this ministry is to "make disciples of all nations" JOIN US IN THIS FIGHT. |
