Beauty for Ashes
In This Section

The experience of a pregnancy loss through abortion may be far in your past, but the memories and reminders often remain. You are not alone in your feelings. The good news is those feelings don’t have to go on forever. We would like to invite you to join others in taking the first step towards healing.

Beauty for Ashes is a confidential 10-week Bible Study designed to minister to women who have been wounded by abortion. By focusing on scripture, we help lead you through the process of restoration and forgiveness through Jesus Christ.

Over the course of 10 weeks, women that sign up for the study will go through the Bible Study workbook titled Forgiven and Set Free by Linda Cochrane. The bible study consists of the following lessons: How do I know where I need Healing?, The Character of God, Relief and Denial, Anger, The Need to Forgive, Depression, Grieving the Loss, Forgiven and Set Free and Acceptance.

During the course of the 10 week study, women have a confidential and intimate place to meet with others who have experienced the loss of a child through abortion. Together each group of women look to God’s word for truth, forgiveness, and healing.

PLEASE NOTE: This bible study is only offered twice a year – in February and September.  We break for summer. Once the 10 week study begins, women can only join up until the 2nd group meeting. This bible study requires a 10-week commitment.  Since every week we will deal with a different stage of the healing process, it is important that women do not miss classes and are committed to doing the homework each week as the healing will come from spending time with the Lord and being in His word.

“To console those who mourn in Zion. To give them Beauty for Ashes. The oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”
Isaiah 61:3
